The AICTE IDEA Lab is an innovation and learning facility established to promote hands-on application of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. It provides a common space where students can convert ideas into functional prototypes using modern tools, equipment and resources, encouraging learning by doing and practical exploration.

The lab aims to nurture creativity and essential 21 st century skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, design thinking, collaboration and communication. It supports multidisciplinary learning, project-based work and research, while enabling faculty to mentor students and integrate innovation into academic activities. With extended access to facilities, students gain practical experience that prepares them for industry and future workplaces.

All IDEA Labs function under AICTE guidelines and are monitored using defined performance parameters. Performance and achievements are reflected on the AICTE website and leaderboard, enhancing transparency, institutional visibility and recognition among stakeholders.
