The pharmaceutical sector is undergoing a major transformation with the emergence of Industry 5.0, where the focus shifts from automation alone to human-centric innovation, artificial intelligence-enabled decision making, and sustainability-driven development. With increasing demand for faster drug discovery, efficient clinical development, and strong regulatory compliance, the integration of AI/ML tools, digital quality systems, sustainable manufacturing practices, and patient-centric healthcare models has become essential. To address these current advancements and prepare students and faculty for the future workforce, KIET School of Pharmacy proposes organizing a national-level industry-academia interaction program titled PHARMAMANTHAN–2026 (Industry 5.0).
