The ECE VLSI Design Club (EVDC) operates under the Centre of Advanced VLSI Design, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The club aims to provide students with a strong platform to explore, learn, and gain hands-on experience in Very-Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) design. EVDC focuses on bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements through structured mentorship and practical exposure. It covers both Analog and Digital VLSI design domains.
The club is supported by experienced industry mentors and dedicated faculty coordinators who guide students in modern VLSI tools and workflows. EVDC promotes skill development through workshops, technical talks, and tool-based training sessions. Students actively participate in mini-projects, design challenges, and collaborative research activities.
The club also encourages research paper presentations and participation in IEEE conferences and national-level competitions. Through teamwork and innovation-driven learning, EVDC enhances students’ technical competence. Overall, the club plays a vital role in improving employability and preparing students for careers in the semiconductor and electronics industry.
