The training team of the H&SS Department is inspired by the vision of the KIET Group of Institutions “TO CREATE COMPETENT PROFESSIONALS FOR INDUSTRY AND SOCIETY”. The training endeavours and initiatives are focused towards the holistic development of the incumbents in order to be proficient, productive and competitive according to the societal and industrial needs. The complete development with an impetus on communication, interpersonal and presentation skills encompasses the wholesome needs of the students.

SCOPE

The scope of the training team in tandem with the departmental scope envisages the students, staff and faculty of the KIET Group of Institutions. Imparting soft skills training to every one of them is the foremost focus. The training team caters to the needs of the students of all branches of engineering viz. CSI, CO, CSE, ECE, EI, EN, ME & IT. The team fulfils the Soft Skills requirements of the students of MCA, MBA, B.Pharma and M.Pharma as well.

PLAN OF ACTION

A complete soft skills policy is framed with respect to the requirements of the students consequential to the following :

  • The structured soft skills module/curriculum to be followed during the sessions.
  • 40-120hrs planned sessions for effective delivery.
  • “Pinnacle “- the semester-wise student handbook for soft skills.

  • Body Language, Behaviour & Gestures
  • Appearance, Etiquette & Presentation skills
  • Interpersonal and Team working Skills
  • Verbal Ability Training & Quantative Aptitude Training
  • Career Counseling
