Two days Corona training and awareness program (12-Oct-2021 to 13-Oct-2021 )

Two days Corona training and awareness program sponsored by Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India was successfully organized from 12.10.2021 to 13.10.2021 by TBI-KIET/UBA Team in village Asalatnagar, Ghaziabad. About 40 villagers participated in this two-day corona training and awareness program.
The objective of the program was to create community awareness and understanding about health and hygiene and best practices to protect the community from COVID-19 by use of masks, sanitizers.
In this program all stakeholders at the community level i.e. Lead farmers, Gram panchayat representatives, Women representative, local shopkeepers etc participated.
The following sessions were organized by Prof. Ashish D. Thombre, Mr. Awadhesh Kumar, Ms. Manjari, Mr. Saurav Kumar and Mr. Amit Sharma in this two-day corona training and awareness program

Village Camp (30-Oct-2021)

With immense pleasure, I want to inform you about successful completion of ‘Health Awareness Camp’ at Village Sainthli, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad on 30.10.2021. Four faculty members namely Dr. K.P Mishra, Mr. Anuj Pathak, Dr. Abhay Bhardwaj Dr. Daksh Bhatia, organized the camp. A group of 18 students of AYUSHMAAN CLUB & Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan team was involved in the activity.
The camp started at around 11:30 AM with registration of patients together with free services of analysis of blood pressure, blood sugar, hemoglobin, BMI, blood group etc. Different teams of students were involved in diagnosis of above said tests.
A dedicated team of female students was involved in distribution of sanitary pads and female patient counselling. Multiple students were also involved in general awareness to villagers regarding communicable diseases, hygiene etc using their handmade posters.
There were around 200 beneficiaries of the camp which include males, females and children. Under diagnostic tests, almost all the adult patients were diagnosed for blood pressure and BMI, 46 test performed for blood sugar, 35 tests performed for blood group and 71 tests for hemoglobin.
The outcome of the activity was very enriching to the students as they were directly exposed to community pharmacy. They interacted with real patients in real scenario, which made them to learn more about pharmacy, its role, patient care and patient handling.

 

Computer Systems Donation Program (18-Sep-2021)

On September 18, 2021 Five Computer systems were donated by KIET Group of Institutions to the junior high school Basantpur sainthali (an UBA adopted village). As Gram Pradhan has requested from KIET Group of Institutions for the same, to establish a computer Center in the school to train the school children and teachers. Gram Pradhan is highly obliged and thankful to receive such type of kind support from the college administration and requested to the Director sir to visit the school after its establishment. UBA team members Dr. K. P. Mishra, Prof. Sachin Rathore and Mr Santosh Kumar ( computer technician) were present during the program.

 

Technical Awareness Cum Overall Career Guidance

Dr Rajeev Kumar a member of UBA team KIET has conducted several meetings in the villages in the vicinity of KIET GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS GHAZIABAD. The meetings were meant for Technical awareness cum overall Career guidance in the youths (Senior secondary to Postgraduate level) of villages under UBA (Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan; A Govt. of India initiative).
The meetings held on different dates in several nearby villages, were highly constructive and fruitful. A number of students and parents have actively participated in the meetings and took the advantage of career guidance in all the spectrum of academics (Technical and Non-Technical). It is our pleasure to share a glimpse of the meetings conducted on different dates in several villages in the KIET vicinity.

 

Health Awareness camp, at Village- Asalat Nagar, Muradnagar (15-Aug-2021)

‘Health Awareness Camp’ has been successfully completed at Village Asalat Nagar, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad on 15.08.2021. Four faculty members namely Dr. K.P Mishra, Mr. Anuj Pathak, Mr. Praveen Dixit and Meenakshi organized the camp. The camp was organized under the program of “Unnat bharat abhiyaan” with the motive of reaching people for their health awareness, educating them for better protection against various diseases, distribution of health supplements and safety gears for COVID-19. On interaction the villagers shown a very keen interest in understanding the combat against CORONA and other diseases.
The camp started at around 8.30 AM with registration of patients together with free distribution of mask, sanitizer, etc. Mr. Praveen Dixit was involved in counselling of villagers for the prevention from COVID and provided the information about symptoms, prevention from COVID and diagnostic testing like B.P, Hemoglobin testing and BMI testing. Team KIET were also involved in general awareness to villagers regarding communicable diseases, hygiene etc using their posters. The villagers were also told about proper way of social distancing and also the protocols need to be followed if someone among them compromised with COVID situation.
There were around 80 TO 100 beneficiaries of the camp which include males, females and children.
The outcome of the activity was very enriching to the community as they were directly exposed to community pharmacy.

 

Health Awareness camp, at Village- Basantpur Saintli, Muradnagar (25-Oct-2020)

One health awareness camp successfully organized at Village-Basantpur Saintli, Muradnager, Ghaziabad. The camp was organized under the program of “BALIKA NAARI SASHKTIKARAN ABHIYAN” with the motive of reaching people for their health awareness, educating them for better protection against various diseases, distribution of health supplements and safety gears for COVID-19. On interaction the villagers shown a very keen interest in understanding the combat against CORONA and other diseases. The camp started at around 1:00 PM with registration of patients together with free distribution of mask, sanitizer, toothpaste and vitamin C,D,E etc. Dr Daksh Bhatia was involved in counselling of villagers for the prevention from COVID and provided the information about symptoms and prevention from COVID. Team KIET were also involved in general awareness to villagers regarding communicable diseases, hygiene etc using their posters. The villagers were also told about proper way of social distancing and the protocols need to be followed if someone among them compromised with COVID situation. There were around 100 TO 120 beneficiaries of the camp which include males, females, and children. The outcome of the activity was very enriching to the community as they were directly exposed to community pharmacy.

Webinar on: बालिका व नारी सुरक्षा एवं सशक्तिकरण अभियान (17 to 25-Oct-2020)

KIET Group of institution has organized an online webinar on “Empowerment and protection of women / girls Abhiyan” under the guidance of AKTU, Lucknow, between October 17, 2020 to October 25, 2020 in five adopted villages under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan. At each day of the program, the Gram Pradhan along with the villagers of all five villages namely Dheda, Kanauja, Hisali, Basantpur Sainthli and Asalat Nagar were connected for the awareness programme, through zoom application and villagers were benefitted by thoughts of intellectual speaker’s Dr C.M. Batra, Dr Pramod Sharma, Dr Richa Agarwal, and Dr Archna Sharma. Ms. Shabnam Khan (Advocate) has enlightened the female participants with her intellectual speech regarding women protection rule in Indian panel Code. The webinar focused on responsibility and contribution of women in family, community, and Nation building. The speech also included bringing awareness among women about their physical, emotional, and psychological health and the legislative measures regarding protection against crimes associated with women. Mrs. Arunima Tyagi, Gram Pradhan Basantpur Saintli was keen to organize such program on skill development for women welfare at her village too.

Three faculty members namely Dr. K.P Mishra, Mr. Anuj Pathak, Dr. Daksh Bhatia organized the camp. The camp was organized with the motive of reaching people for their health awareness, educating them for better protection against various diseases, distribution of health supplements and safety gears for COVID-19. On interaction the villagers shown a very keen interest in understanding the combat against CORONA and other diseases. The camp started at around 1:15 PM with registration of patients together with free distribution of mask, sanitizer, toothpaste and vitamin C,D,E etc. Dr Daksh Bhatia was involved in counselling of villagers for the prevention from COVID and provided the information about symptoms and prevention from COVID. Team KIET were also involved in general awareness to villagers regarding communicable diseases, hygiene etc using them posters. COVID-19: From Pandemic to Opportunities (13 to 14-May-2020)

Mr. Sachin Tyagi and Mr. Mohit Tyagi along with 02 students organized two days awareness program from 13 May 2020 – 14 May 2020 on corona “COVID-19: From Pandemic to Opportunities” at nearby local village Asalatnagar.

How to save from Covid19 (14 to 18-April-2020)

Our staff member Mr. Vikas Tyagi along with his colleagues and some students visited Basantpur Santali, Ashaltnagar, Hishali, Shobhapur and Kanauja villages and muradnagar railway station from Between April 14 to April 18 and created awareness about how they can prepare themselves to fight from Covid-19.

Awareness by Poster presentation on Prevention better than cure (COVID 19)

KIET Design Club created awareness by spreading different posters in different languages through social media handles, so that both educated and non-educated people can understand it very well as per their convenience and follow all instructions.

Covid -19: Counseling support @ Uddesya

Uddesya team of students ran the of drive “Covid -19: Counseling support @ UBA/Uddesya” and a team of 20 students from their respective places telephonically contacted different nearby villages house through phone numbers, made available by respective Gram Pradhan, and spread awareness about Covid-19 and in case of any help that was arranged by different NGO’s.

India's frugal -DIY face shield- fight against corona

With health workers in many parts of the world facing shortages of personal protective equipment as they treat corona virus patients, architects, designers, institutions, and brands around the world are making face shields. Therefore, our two faculty members prepared this face shield entirely for our home goods because all markets are closed due to country lockdown. Mr. Sachin Rathore, (KIET Design club) Designed & fabricated India’s frugal -DIY face shields -257 nos. & donated to the health workers of the Government Hospital (MGM) Ghaziabad and about 57 Shields to the persons of UP Police, Ghaziabad. On 14 April 2020, Robin Hood Army, on a humble request of team UBA/UDDESHHYA, provided 330 kgs of raw food to 71 families in the Ravli slum, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad

Distribution of Mask and Sanitizer (13-April-2020)

On 13 April 2020, Amrit Varsha NGO went to the Rajnagar slum on our Team's polite request and provided raw food material to the families there. Face masks were also distributed by them and they informed the people there about the spread of COVID-19 pandemic

Distribution of Ration (15-April-2020)

On 15th April 2020, Feeding India NGO along with TEAM UDDESHHYA visited to Ravli slum, Muradnagar Ghaziabad on our team's approach and distributed 105 packets, each having 9.5 kg (Rice 7.5 kg and Daal 2.0 kg) of raw food which benefitted 105 families present there.
