OVERVIEW

SAEINDIA Collegiate Club of KIET has a commendable history since its establishment in October 2008. The club has played a pivotal role in providing a platform for students to enhance their engineering skills and actively participate in various engineering competitions. Here is an overview of the club's notable achievements and milestones:

1. Formation and Early Success:
• The club was established in October 2008.
• Team IMMORTALS secured the first runner-up position at BAJA SAEINDIA 2009, winning a prize of 2 lakh rupees.
• They represented Asia as the sole participant from the continent at BAJA SAE Alabama 2009.
2. Progress and Recognition:
• In 2013, Team IMMORTALS achieved the overall 2nd rank at a competition, earning a cash prize of Rs. 3 lakhs.
3. Expansion with New Teams:
• Team INCREDIBLES, formed by the club, secured the 1st rank in SAENIS Effi-cycle in both 2014 and 2016.
• Team INVINCIBLES made an impressive debut in SUPRA SAEINDIA, securing the 4th position and later achieving the top rank in successive years.
4. International Recognition:
• The club took part in the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge in the years 2019, 2021, and 2023.
• The team was honoured with the esteemed AIAA Neil Armstrong Best Design Award throughout the competition. The committee once more devised the Phoenix Award in 2021, followed by the Social Media Award in 2023. We are once again prepared to win additional laurels for the nation and the college this year.
5. Accolades and Recognition:
• The club has won prizes worth ₹18 lakhs in various competitions.
• Recognized as the Best Collegiate Club in the SAE Northern India Section.
6. Alumni Network and Current Membership:
• The club has a robust alumni network in leading automobile industries.
• Currently comprises more than 100 active student members.
7. Educational Initiatives:
• In addition to competitions, the club organizes workshops, industrial visits, and guest lectures for its members.
• Mr. Tuhin Srivastava, a faculty member and part of the first BAJA team, serves as the mentor, guiding students toward their achievements.
