With the objective of “HUNAR SE KAMYABI TAK” (From Skill to success), Mechanical Engineering Department in collaboration with Hero MotoCorp Ltd and ASDC (Automotive Skill Development Council) has established a state-of-art Skill Development Center (SDC) for youth. This SDC is offering Two-Wheeler Preventive Maintenance & Repair program of 63 days of theory and practical followed by 14 days of 'On the Job Training' at Hero MotoCorp Ltd authorized Service Center. The training module is conducted by fully trained faculty to grasp theoretical and practical knowledge to know two wheeler vehicle repair and maintenance processes.
The SDC is equipped with all conventional learning facilities including automated workshop with pneumatic tools and precision equipment. In addition to all these facilities, the workshop is equipped with four new-age vehicles (Passion Pro, Xtreme 160R, Destiny 125, Maestro edge 125) of Hero Motocorp to help trainees to gain hands on expertise of the latest automobile technologies.
