Dr. Arun Kumar Tripathi completed Ph.D. in Computer Applications with specialization in Mobile IPv6 from NIT Kurukshetra in 2018, M. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (Formerly known as Gautam Buddha Technical University, Lucknow) in 2010, MCA from LNCT Bhopal affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal in 2002 and B.Sc. Electronics from Dr. Hari Singh Gour Central University (Formerly known as Sagar University). He served as Lecturer from 2002-2003 in LNCT Bhopal. Later, he joined as Lecturer in Computer Science and Engineering, Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology (KIET) in July 2003. In August 2006, he promoted as Se. Lecturer and in August 2007 as Assistant Professor. In August 2008 he promoted as Associate Professor and subsequently in July 2021 promoted as Professor. At present he is appointed as Head Cyber Security and Forensic Science Division. His research interests include Computer Network, Network Security, IoT etc.  He has more than 50 research publications in reputed Journals and Conferences. He reviewed more than 12 SCI-Indexed journal papers. He is a life member of various professional societies like ACEEE, IACSIT, IAENG, CSTA etc. He guided 02 M. Tech. thesis in Computer Science and Engineering and at present 01 Ph.D. thesis is on-going. He is CISCO certified academy instructor and competed more than 20 MOOC courses from NPTEL and Coursera. In teaching his area of interest is Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Automata Theory, Compiler Design, Linux, Software Engineering etc.
