Power System Operational Study and Security Analysis

Brijesh Singh received the B. Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering from VBS Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh-India, in 2003, and the M. Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) from UP Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh-India in 2009 and Ph. D Degree from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh-India, in 2014. Since July 2016, he is with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad as Associate Professor and Coordinator of the KIET Centre of Excellence for Power Engineering Technologies and Clean Energy Integration. He is also serving and Member Secretary of KIET Collaborative Research and Development Committee and Member of KIET Industrial Research and Consultancy Development Committee. Prior to KIET, he was also served in VBS Mangalayatan University Aligarh, Purvanchal University Jaunpur, KNIT Sultanpur and UCER Allahabad as faculty member. Dr. Singhs group conducts research in Distributed Generation/Integration of Renewables, Day-Ahead & Intra-Day Scheduling, Demand Side Management, Transmission Systems Efficiency, Static & Dynamic Security Assessment, Electricity Market, AI Applications in Smart Grid & Vehicular Technologies. The research spans a wide range of areas ranging from studying fundamental concepts in power engineering for developing of new technologies for next generation requirements such as virtual power plants, smart grid with green energy corridors, AI for EVs, and smart agriculture. His research contributions in the power engineering community and have resulted in over 45 peer-reviewed publications including SCI/SCOPUS/WoS indexed journals and conferences till date. Dr. Singh is also providing his voluntary support to professional communities/societies. At present, he is a Senior Member of IEEE, IEEE-PES, IEEE-IAS, IEEE Smart Grid Community and supporting IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section as Member ExComm and IEEE Student Branch
