PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY

Dr K. Nagarajan is a Professor and Principal in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, KIET School of Pharmacy, KIET Group of institutions, Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad and he is Dynamic, Multifaceted, Quick Learner and One of the Responsible Leader of the Department having 21 years of affluent Teaching, Research and Industrial experience. He has completed his Ph. D in Pharmacy from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2010; M. Pharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi in 2001; B. Pharm from Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Coimbatore affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University, Chennai in 1998. Selected for a Colonel Fairleigh S. Dickinson International Scholarship of U.S $ 5000 for the 2005-2006 academic year in recognition of candidate’s potential and past educational achievements. Selected as Fellow of Institution of Chemists (India) (F.I.C) as Honorary Life Fellowship since 2020. Served as Scientist in MCD-Drug Discovery Department, Torrent Research Centre, Gandhi Nagar for a short stint in 2001. Qualified GATE’99 with 93.33 percentile having All India Rank of 190. Published 115 research papers in Journal of Repute, out of which 41 Scopus and 15 SCI indexed which includes 37 National and 78 International Journals, presented 65 papers which includes 47 National and 18 International Conferences, authored 10 Books, holds 4 Indian Patents, delivered 17 Guest lectures, organized 11 events, completed 2 Expert trainer program & 13 MOOCs courses, participated in 16 continuous education learning programs, so far. Received 4 Grants with a cumulative worth of 38.00647 Lacs from Funding Bodies such as AICTE & AKTU. He is Life member of Various Professional Bodies like APTI, IPA, ISTE, SOPI, CSI, IFERP, The Indian Pharmacists Association. Awarded with CV Raman Award consecutively for the session 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 as Best Researcher by KIET Group of Institutions. Received KIET’s Best Faculty Incentive in
