DSDL KIET is a student community of KIET. This club was created with an objective of spreading the awareness of the emerging technology as Data science and Deep Learning. A club can take many forms from just a few people getting together, to large gatherings with demos and tech talks, to events like code sprints and hack-a-thons. DSDL is one of the most prestigious clubs in KIET with many active members where the students can accelerate their passion for Data and its Science. It is a place where creative minds play with the data and ideas are harnessed into software products that are useful in real life. We aim to think up novel algorithms and turn them into innovative software in different fields providing world of opportunities to learn for an individual.

Param savak is used for performing high performance computing in projects developed by the club. Data Science and Deep Learning is one of the most prestigious clubs in KIET with many active members where the students can accelerate their passion for Data and its Science. It is a place where creative minds play with the data and ideas are harnessed into software products that are useful in real life. We aim to think up novel algorithms and turn them into innovative software in different fields providing world of opportunities to learn for an individual. We started our journey in 2020. The objective is to equip the students with the ability and skills to analyse, design and develop computer systems and their applications. The focus will be on developing and strengthening systems thinking, problem-solving, analysis, design, research, teamwork, and readiness for lifelong learning in areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep-Learning. Till date, we have organised 30+ workshops and hands-on sessions on different areas like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Deployment, Version Control Systems like Git, etc. We have conducted short coding contests and various other quizzes to boost students.
