The KIET School of Pharmacy successfully conducted an Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on "Paradigm Shift in Pharmaceutical Sciences: From Bench to Bedside and Beyond" from July 22 to July 26, 2024

The KIET School of Pharmacy successfully conducted an Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) from July 22 to July 26, 2024. The FDP aimed to address the evolving landscape of pharmaceutical sciences, focusing on innovative approaches and advancements from bench research to clinical applications. The program featured a series of engaging and insightful sessions delivered by 14 distinguished experts from various domains of pharmaceutical sciences.

The inaugural session was started with the welcome of Prof. (Dr.)  Preeti Bajaj (Director General, KIET Group of Institutions), Dr. Manoj Goel, Joint Director, (Prof). Dr. Anil K. Ahlawat, Director-Academics and chief guest Prof. (Dr.) B. N. Sinha (Dean Academic Affairs, Amity University, Ranchi & Kolkata) & Dr. Rakesh Sharma (Founder President, CBRN Warriors, India, Director (Rtd.) DRDO-DFRL, Mysore) by Dr. K. Nagarajan, Principal, KIET School of Pharmacy and Convenor of FDP. After the session, Dr. K. Nagarajan provided a brief introduction about the FDP to all dignitaries and participants and expressed their gratitude towards KIET management, Director General, Joint Director, Director-Academics, KIET Group of Institutions for their continuous support in making this event a grand success. Dr. Preeti Bajaj also expresses her words of wisdom on FDP vision and extracted the transformative journey of pharmaceutical sciences, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration and addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by technological advancements like AI, data science, precision medicine, and wearable devices. Word of blessings was showered by Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma and Dr. B. N. Sinha and they wish a grand success to this FDP.
