The Hackers Meetup, KIET Chapter, held on February 2, 2024, at the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, was an outstanding success, drawing in approximately 80 eager and motivated attendees. The focus of the event was on the crucial topic of cybersecurity, and the engagement of the audience was highly interactive.

The event featured distinguished keynote speakers, Mr. Sahil Sharma and Mr. Soumak Roy, who shared their extensive knowledge and experience in the field of cybersecurity with great enthusiasm. Their insights provided valuable perspectives to the students present at the meetup. In addition to the keynote speakers, six industry mentors played a pivotal role in guiding and inspiring the participants. The mentors, namely, Mr. Amit S, Mr. Sanchay Singh, Mr. Pankaj Yadav, Ms. Kashish Huma Hashim, Mr. Pritam Malik, and Mr. Abhishrey Gupta, provided meticulous guidance to the attendees, offering practical insights and real-world experiences.

The event received honorable recognition from the leadership of KIET Group of Institutions. The esteemeddignitaries who graced the occasion included Dr. Manoj Goel Sir (Joint Director), Dr. Shailesh Tiwari Sir(Additional Director), Dr. Anil Kumar Ahlawat Sir (Director-in-Charge), Dr. Abhinav Juneja Sir (HOD of Computer Science and Information Technology), and Dr. Rohit Vashisht Sir (Faculty Coordinator). Their presence at the event underscored the institution's  support and encouragement for the committee responsible for organizing the meetup.
