The Department of Computer Science hosted the most awaited, annual tech fest of the institute on December 1, 2023, in the name of 'INNOTECH'23.' The day not only observed a showcase of ideas from the students from the various departments of KIET but also an intrigued participation from numerous different schools and colleges.
With a remarkable turnout of 100 projects and 22 posters, the commencement of the event witnessed an enthusiastic audience of college students to working professionals and experienced professors who eagerly awaited their turn in reviewing the ideas on display, right from the early hours of 10:00 AM, all through the hours till 1:30 PM.

Based on the theme of 'Sustainable Social Impact Solutions,' the teams were henceforth, divided into three broad categories, emphasizing innovative solutions for societal challenges, so as to wisely reward the inclination of ideas, distinctly.
Furthermore professors (the faculty members) of ECE, CS and CSE department of the institute, were hosted as the jury which further evaluated the ideas and deduced the winners for each category.
To conclude, the event was a grand success, organised by Kinesis Technical Society (KTS) student team, the official club of CS department, under the supervision of Prof. Neha Shukla. The event received the valuable support of esteemed individuals, including the honourable dignitaries- Dr. Anil Kumar Ahlawat (Director-In-charge), Dr. Manoj Goel (Joint Director), Dr. Shailesh Tiwari (Additional Director), Dr. Ajay Kumar Shrivastava (Prof. & HoD-CS) and respected faculty members, whose presence provided support to the participating students while also helping the event become a remarkable success.
