World Pharmacists Day-2023 on the theme “Pharmacy strengthening health systems-Angdaan Mahadan” was celebrated by KIET School of Pharmacy on Saturday, 23rd Sept, 2023 in physical mode.The event was Inaugurated in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Dr. Manoj Goel sir, JointDirector-KIET Group of Institutions, Guest of Honor Sadguru Sakshi Shree Ji- Founder Science Divine Movement, Respected Prof(Dr.) K. Nagarajan sir,Principal- KIET School of Pharmacy,Respected Prof.(Dr.)N.G Raghvendra Rao sir-Additional Head- KIET School of Pharmacy,Dr. Bhoopendra sir-Chief Proctor-KIET, Horizontal Leaders of KIET School of Pharmacy,along with Faculty members, staff members and Diploma, B. Pharm and M. Pharm students.

The programme was started by welcoming of Dignitaries by Oxy plant and Inaugurated by worship of Goddess of Knowledge Maa Saraswati followed by Saraswati vandana.Welcome address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) K. Nagarajan sir. He has emphasized the importance of 7 code of ethics to be followed by every pharmacist. After that, address was delivered by Hon’ble Dr. Manoj Goel sir- Joint Director, KIET Group of Institutions Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad has delivered his Inaugural address and motivated the future pharmacists and emphasized the role of Pharmacists on various professional fronts. He also emphasized the importance of attending classes and keep the KIET flag high in all domains. He has motivatedstudents to upgrade their skills and work on their concepts.

After inaugural address, Dr. Praveen Kumar Dixit -Asst. Head-Department SkillDevelopment Cell-KSOP and Coordinator-WPD-2023 has given a briefreport of the events to all the dignitaries and participants and requested the Guest of Honour Sadguru Sakshi Shree Ji to deliver his session in the gracious presence of dignitaries.

Inaugural ceremony was concluded with wonderful session by Sadguru Sakshi Shree Ji-Founder Science Divine Movement.

For increasing awareness among students about the profession various technical events were organized such as :

• Label Designing competition.
• Oral presentation competition
• Pharma Quiz Competition
• Debate Competition.

More than 200 students have registered and participated in various events.At the end of the all the technical events, Valedictory Ceremony was Organized for Appreciating the Winners and Participants. All the winners have received Certificate of achievements and trophies and all the registeredparticipants have received Certificates of Participation. The Valedictory Ceremony was graced by -Dr.A Garg sir- Hon’ble Director -KIET Group of Institutions. Sir, has emphasized on skill development and motivated the students for Organ Donation .The certificates were distributed under the gracious presence of Hon’ble Director-Dr. A. Garg sir respected Prof. (Dr.) K. Nagarajan, Principal - KIET School of Pharmacy and all the faculty members.

The program was end up with vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Praveen K. Dixit (Coordinator WPD-2023) followed by Group photography and National Anthem.
