Department of Computer Science has planned the Industrial visit at ACMA, Saksham, Sonipat on 17 March 2023. This visit was for third year students of computer science branch.
On 17th March, Two Buses departed from KIET Campus at 9:30 AM and reached ACMA centre, Sonipat around 10:30 AM.
Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Head ACMA Centre, Sonipat, started the orientation session and welcomed all students and faculty members. During the session, Mr. Rakesh discussed about the ACMA role and quote various examples, that how the ACMA is helping learners in development of skill sets.
Total 106 students were divided into three groups and group sessions were running parallelly as sections A,B and C.
Session 2 was at AIC, and taken by Mr. Alok Pandey, where Mr. Pandey discussed the government initiatives and policies for incubation and entrepreneurs. Mr. Pandey also highlighted few names and small scale companies who have taken advantage of such scehmes.
Session 3 was related to the cobots and drones at IHFC centre. Ms. Krithika R.S. was the instructor for the session. She explained well about the drones and technology. Students were really excited to see and drone simulation and also enjoyed the remote controlling of the drones.
Session 4 was taken by Mr. Usmaan from FASCO, where the automation processes and the role of software discussed in terms of industries. Mr. Usmaan demonstrated how the machines are driven by software’s and applying the sorting based on colours and bifurcating the caps of bottles. Robotic arm with four dimensions were shown to the students; and the Mitsubishi automated crane was showcased in front of students.
At the end, Mr Rakesh gave exposure of the designing lab and discussed how fuzzy based engines are coming in the market. He took the feedback from students and thanks the faculty members of KIET and management of KIET for such visit and invited other students to visit the labs.
