The Department of Computer Science has organized a session for second year students for better career planning and execution.

Objective of the session:
1. Awareness about the latest trends and technologies in corporate.
2. How to plan and start execution for placements?
3. Role of Coding and Projects
4. Which language and platform is better?

The session was on MS Teams. The live streaming in E408, E409 and E411 was on for the second year section A, B and C with Lateral entry students.

Glimpse:
Ms. Kratika Jain gave her talk on “Career Path in IT”. Additional Head, Prof. Raj Kumar introduced the speaker to the audience and thank Ms. Jain for delivering the session. Ms. Jain told what Career path means and why it matters to any student. She focuses on the six major pillars or the major areas of computer science. These arears were Software and Web Developers, Network Specialists, Data Analyst, Clous Specialist, Cyber Security Specialist and Business & Quality Analyst. She also discussed on skill set and student must enter into a particular area and then do the work accordingly. She also suggested the various certifications related to every pillar of computer science which are globally accepted by the software companies. She discusses the key application areas of all the fields in detail. She also discussed that soft skills are equally important as the hard skills. Overall, the session was very informative for all who joined this talk.
In the end of the session, Dr. Harsh Khatter shared the certificate of appreciation and Prof. Akash Goel, thank all the participants for attending the workshop.
