A Field Visit 2023 to Community Pharmacy was organized by KIET School of Pharmacy, Ghaziabad on Friday, January 06, 2023, for D. Pharm 2^nd Year students. During the visit 26 students along with three faculty members visited the Community Health Centre (CHC), Muradnagar, Ghaziabad. Objective of the field visit was to make students aware with working and services of community pharmacy and understand different departments there in. During the visit students were very curious and excited to interact with the CHC officials.

Community Health Centre, Muradnagar has been established to provide health care for community development at Block Level. After reaching at the Community Health Centre, Mr. Rajesh Yadav, Chief Pharmacist interacted with the students and welcomes them. He introduced students to various departments of the Community Health Centre.

Students interacted with various hospital personnel involved in Pharmacy, out-patient department (OPD), Operation theatre, Store department, cold-chain room, nursing stations, pathology, vaccination room, labour room, injection room, in-patient department (IPD), prescription handling and record keeping, central sterile supply department, biomedical waste disposal area etc. Later Dr. Pradeep Yadav, M.S. Community Health Centre, Muradnagar answered students’ queries and motivated them with his words.

After completing the visit faculty members and students reached at the institute campus around 1:30 pm. Students enjoyed the visit and gained knowledge. They have learned about the various services offered in the Community Health Centre. The visit was successful in all respects. Mr. Kapil Sachan (Assistant Prfoessor), Mr. Shubham Sharma (Lecturer) and Ms. Riya Rastogi (Lecturer) contributed for successful organization of the visit.

All the arrangements were done under the supervision of Dr. Vaishali M. Patil, Mr. Sanjeev Chauhan and Mr. Praveen Dixit and with the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) K. Nagarajan, Principal-KSOP.
