Competitive programming is a brain game and programmers have to code according to the given constraints. To develop competitive coding culture among students Department of Computer Applications organized a half-day coding event exclusively for MCA I year students. The event was organized by Team KodeKar (Departmental coding Club) on December 24, 2022. A total of 65 students enthusiastically participated.

Objective: The main aim of event was to motivate the students for competitive coding on online available platforms. After completion of event the students were able to discover their strengths and weaknesses in the coding area and promised to complete at least one coding problem each day.

Platform and Schedule: The event was organized on the HackerRank platform from 9:30 AM. to 11:30 AM. During the event a set of 05 coding puzzles are provided to students to solve under prespecified constraints.

Outcome: Based on leader-board positions are achieved by students.

Venue: Lab-1 Department of Computer Applications.
