A career guidance talk was organised by the department of CSE (AI & AIML) in association with IR? cell of the Institute on 21st Sep, 2022 at 3:00PM.
The programme commenced with welcoming our Guest Speaker Dr.Preeti Chitkara-Head PR & IR-KIET Group of Institutions, Prof. (Dr.) Rekha Kashyap- HOD (CSE-AI & AIML) faculty members and students by Ms. Bhawna, Asst. Professor (CSE-AIML), KIET Group of Institutions.
After that the speaker was introduced by Prof. (Dr.) Rekha Kashyap- HOD (CSE-AI & AIML) and the session began with success story of our KIET Students. The talk was attended by 88 students of 3rd semester of AI & AIML branch. Dr. Preeti Chitkara in her address highlighted on the career opportunities created by Globalized world. She further highlighted the importance of International Internships. She talked about how to focus on the chosen career and what are the efforts to be put in to make that dream true. She explained by giving examples of various successful students of KIET.

During the session following points has been covered.
1. Importance of doing International Internships.
2. KIET policy to facilitate students for International Internships.
3. Countries where KIET students are doing Internships.
4. Career opportunities
5. Foreign Language, especially German and French and its importance.
All the students were highly motivated and got to know about importance of International Internship and Foreign Language in their career growth. The students cleared their doubts by asking various questions and all the queries were promptly answered by the guest speaker. It was a very informative day for the students.
The session was well concluded and coordinated by Ms. Bhawna, Asst. Professor (CSE-AIML) and Member PR & IR-KIET and Ms. Richa Singh, Asst. Professor (CSE-AI) and Member PR & IR-KIET.
