The Department of Applied Sciences, KIET Group of Institutions organized the felicitation ceremony of B. Tech. I year students (2019-20) for excellent academic achievement on Sept. 26, 2020, on virtual platform in order to follow the Government guidelines and safety measures due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Around 148 meritorious students secured 90% and above. Parents of the students were also invited in this virtual felicitation Programme. The programme was started with the welcome address by Head (Applied Sciences), Dr. C. M. Batra, with blessing and congratulatory message to all the students.

Director KIET Group of Institutions Dr. (Col) Amik Garg encouraged students of core and other branches to learn coding along with programming languages to develop more knowledge towards additional skills so that in the forthcoming years the demand of technology with these skills will enhance their occupancy.

Joint Director KIET Group of Institutions Dr Manoj Goel congratulated students for their excellent academic performance and wished them good luck for the future.

Dean Academics Dr Anil Ahalawat also heartily congratulated the students and motivated them to be clear in their vision and dream high and work for it to achieve.Some students and their parents shared their experiences of B.Tech I year. Few of them have also suggested some measures for the benefit of students.

In the end, Dr Vipin Kumar, Additional Head, Department of Applied Sciences, presented Vote of Thanks to all dignitaries, HoDs of various departments, Deans, Functional Heads and Mr Vinay Ahalwat Sir for the technical support.
