Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, Indian Institute of Toxicology and Research (CSIR-IITR), Lucknow signed the historic Memorandum of Understanding with KIET Group of Institutions on August 5, 2020, at its Lucknow office. This MoU has been signed by the Director, CSIR-IITR, Dr. Alok Dhawan, and the Director, KIET Group of Institutions - Dr. A Garg in the presence of Head Business Development & Research, IITR - Dr. KC Khulbe and GM-TBI & Dean- IEC, KIET - Prof Satendra Srivastava.
The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), established in 1942, is an autonomous society whose president is the Prime Minister of India and this MoU is historic as CSIR-IITR has signed an agreement with a private Educational Organization for the first time in its journey of more than 70 years. The collaboration aims to promote Electronics & Information Technology and pharmacy-based Research & Development and Startups through the combined efforts of CSIR-IITR and experienced researchers of KIET.
