“Change is the most deliberate veracity of this transforming age.”
Each and every sector of this professional era is showing a prominent shift in their nature and workflow depending upon the need of the hour.
As the needle of the clock is swinging, the workplace of this digital world is also changing its phases.
To examine and analyze these changes and shifts, The Deloitte Global Human Capital Trends surveyed an approximate number of 10,000 people from almost 119 countries across the globe in order to prepare a brief insight of in what ways people are considering job options, fresh recruiting, hiring and how they are being stabilized at a workplace.
The analysis was made on a number of parameters but the two most important ones among them were Learning and Talent flexibility or mobility. There are considered as profound aspects of leadership tactics.
Now let’s take a deep dive into the ocean of these two major factors in order to understand them utterly.
LEARNING: The Never-Ending Journey
Have you ever wondered why people quit their jobs?
The most common answer to this question is that they start getting the feeling of being in a saturated state. And this state of saturation comes only if that person is not learning new things or in other words that person is not growing.
In the survey conducted, it was observed that about 86 percent of people across the globe fall into this category for quitting their jobs.
Then what’s is the solution?
The best way to sustain in a job or profession for a long and stabilized time is to persistently upskill yourself.
Upskilling refers to learning new things and putting up an innovative approach towards the older ones.
According to the Deloitte Global, about 83 percent of the world’s organizations are focusing extensively on providing reskilling and upskilling training programs to the employees.
So, if you want to put some light on today’s world then a culture of learning and growing is having a terrific hold on the organization to make them resilient in a workforce changing with remarkable pace.
TALENT MOBILITY: The Pace of Persistence
Talent is the quality of a person that makes him/her different from others. It will make you find out a unique spot for yourself, away from the crowd.
When you look forward to a job or profession then this talent is something that will be on top of the list in the recruiter’s mind. But in the several years of work, there has been observed a significant shift in the methods for finding and sustaining that talent. The survey report of Deloitte marks that organizations should look properly upon internal talent mobility for persistent growth and stability.
These two principles carry paramount importance in the era of globalization and the digital age. They promise us an eminent way to nurture in our profession and jobs that will ultimately provide the doors opening in the lane of success and excellence.
