“In this era of emerging technologies & advanced sciences, developed nations are focusing on applied research by using knowledge linkages between scientists, engineers and researchers. The purpose of applied sciences in technical study is to lay a strong foundation of basic principles of various disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Environment and Communication Skills in the mind of the learners, so that they conduct the rest of their years of study with an up to date knowledge and training of basic engineering skills. Our Laboratories have been very well established not only to cover the complete syllabus but to motivate students to learn beyond the syllabus which definitely develops a complete knowledge of the subject (both the practical and theoretical depth of knowledge) and develops skill sets in students to become promising Technocrats in future. Mathematics has both an inherent logic and beauty while also providing the structure and models from which engineers build an understanding of our world and construct the tools to improve our lives. Our focus is to produce scientists and engineers equipped with modern mathematical tools with a strong understanding towards real world and engineering problems”. Physics makes significant contributions through advances in new technologies that arise from theoretical breakthroughs. Physics intersects with many interdisciplinary areas of Engineering. Working at the interface of molecular sciences and applied engineering, chemistry helps to bring research and innovations from laboratories to the industry and society. Almost every aspect of our daily life is now dependent on products and services of chemistry. The knowledge of the Environment will help make the students’ conviction strong to keep their environment eco-friendly and this is quintessential to their work in the corporate with the objective to stand for the Go-Green concept. The Professionals soft skill is an important part of their individual contribution to success. Soft skills are increasingly sought out by skilled personnel in addition to standard qualifications. The aim of the Department is to research, through theoretical and experimental methods, being integrated with the current research, having the purpose to prepare students in facing the challenges of contemporary science, technological and economic development. To achieve this, the department aspires to conduct International Conferences, Faculty Development Programmes and Short Term Courses in-order to enhance the knowledge reservoir of the Faculties to upgrade themselves to elevate the skill of our students
